In a quiet flat of old memories, Sophie lives through the VHS tapes her mum left before she died.

Stuck in routine, she clings to them for comfort, until one final, unseen message urges her to start living again.

All the Time We Had is a heartfelt short film about love, loss, the passage of time, and the quiet courage it takes to move forward.

A little about me…

I’m Romy Payne, a London-based filmmaker.

I graduated from De Montfort University in 2022 with a First in Drama and Theatre, receiving the Highest Achieving Progressing Drama Student (Level 5) Prize, the Highest Achieving Final Year Drama Student Award, and the Christopherson Award (as the sole recipient) where my dissertation film was selected for the collection, recognising its originality and creativity.

I recently completed an MA in Film Production at the University of Greenwich, graduating with a Distinction. There, I further developed my craft and produced All the Time We Had, which also received a Distinction.
